New Edition Push My Story With Pastor Mina Livingston 04/29 by New Edition Push My Story | Christianity Podcasts

New Edition Push My Story With Pastor Mina Livingston 04/29 by New Edition Push My Story | Christianity Podcasts: Grace is at the heart of the Christian faith. Nowhere is this more clearly seen than at the cross of Christ. It is grace that the Son of God took on flesh, and grace that he taught us how to live — but it is especially grace that he died on the cross in our place. Moreover, this climactic grace shown at the cross has a specific shape — it has edges. These edges help us see what exactly happened when Jesus died. PUSH MY STORY WITH PASTOR LIVINGSTON, CHRISTIAN RADIO ICON 02/21 by New Edition Push My Story | Christianity Podcasts

PUSH MY STORY WITH PASTOR LIVINGSTON, CHRISTIAN RADIO ICON 02/21 by New Edition Push My Story | Christianity Podcasts: ?The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much? (James 5:16). I'm sure you're familiar with this verse of Scripture. You've read it often. You may even have it memorized. Yet, this verse seems far from daily reality, especially concerning your prayer life and mine. I'm sure, that like me, you've been a little bit intimidated by this verse of Scripture. It's a powerful verse – an amazing promise. But, my prayers ?avail? much? Me, a ?righteous? man? It seems beyond me – out of my reach. I've often struggled with this verse and my prayer life. Maybe you have too. Maybe you're discouraged in your prayer life. You pray but your praying doesn't seem to live up to what James 5:16 says it can be. You don't feel like your prayers avail much.God gives it to us to encourage us and to motivate us to pray. It's important not to divorce this verse from its context. When you see it in its context, it speaks to every genuine believer. It offers a life of prayer beyond what we can imagine.

As he was going into a village, ten men who had leprosy met him. They stood at a distance and called out in a loud voice, ?Jesus, Master, have pity on us!? When he saw them, he said, ?Go, show yourselves to the priests.? And as they went, they were cleansed. One of them, when he saw he was healed, came back, praising God in a loud voice. He threw himself at Jesus' feet and thanked him—and he was a Samaritan. Jesus asked, ?Were not all ten cleansed? Where are the other nine? Has no one returned to give praise to God except this foreigner?? Then he said to him, ?Rise and go; your faith has made you

Habakkuk 2 King James Version (KJV) 2 I will stand upon my watch, and set me upon the tower, and will watch to see what he will say unto me, and what I shall answer when I am reproved. 2 And the Lord answered me, and said, Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it. 3 For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry.
